Under the Mango Tree is a series
of mixed-media works on paper
based on an Akan Fable from
Ghana called "How the Desert
Came To Be".  The story narrative
focuses on two farmers, Ananse
and his friend Akwasi, who go to
the creator of the Universe to ask
for rain.
